Ross Cronjé and Robbie Coetzee will start ahead of Boks Faf de Klerk and Malcolm Marx when the Lions take on the Waratahs at Ellis Park this Saturday.
Besides those unenforced changes, Harold Vorster comes into the midfield as a replacement for the injured Howard Mnisi.
Meanwhile, Dylan Smith has recovered from his shoulder injury and comes in on the bench along with Sylvian Mahuza.
The Lions also announced that Stokkies Hanekom and Koch Marx would be joining the Kings and Griquas respectively on loan.
