Boks select base of operations for World Cup

The Springboks have selected Toulon as their base for the pool stages of the Rugby World Cup in 2023 in France, with the team set to be based in Paris for their third pool match against Ireland in at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

A letter from US President Joe Biden expressing strong support of USA’s bid to host the 2031 men’s Rugby World Cup and 2033 women’s World Cup was part of a final bid package submitted by USA Rugby, the federation said.
